Baijia Tries Internet Direct Marketing March 17, 2009

Sichuan Baijia Food Co. Ltd, China’s largest instance sweet potato noodle enterprise, will march into the new business model of direct network sale at the end of this month. Baijia Food is planning to invest some ¥2mn to 3mn (around $292,000 to $438,000) to build the first direct network sale system in the foodstuff industry within two years. Baijia Food will establish online flagship stores, as well as to partner with nationally famous shopping websites like taobao.com, ebay.com, youa.com, alibaba.com, and dangdang.com etc to launch Baijia online direct-sale supermarket, and to build online chain store marketing system. For the moment, the whole internet system is under construction, and the online supermarket will come to the world at the end of this month. By then, the product series of Baijia Food, up to 130 kinds, all will be sold directly on line.
